A refundable deposit of ₦150,000 is collected before pickup. We inspect the car on return and refund the deposit within 3 working days, less any amounts owed for damage, missing items, fuel, fines, extra mileage or late return.
Each rental day includes 100 miles. Extra miles are charged at ₦1,000 per mile.
Return the car with the same fuel level it had at pickup. If it is lower, we charge for the missing fuel plus a refuelling fee of ₦10,000.
Returning the car after the agreed time is charged at ₦10,000 per extra hour, up to a full extra day’s rate. Please tell us before the rental ends if you need more time.
Because our insurance is third-party only, you are responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing the rental car if it is damaged, lost or stolen during the rental, except where the damage is proven to be caused by an existing fault or by us. You also pay traffic fines, parking charges and tolls received during your rental.
You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before pickup. After that, one day’s rental rate is charged.
We may refuse a rental, or end it and collect the car, if these terms are broken or the car is at risk.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes go to the courts of Lagos State.
When you book, we collect your name, phone number, email, pickup details, a copy of your ID and driver’s licence, and the messages you send us.
Only Route Rover staff see your documents. We share information only when the law requires it, with the police or other authorities, with our insurer if there is a claim, and with payment providers if you pay online. We do not sell your information.
The booking form opens WhatsApp with your details. WhatsApp is run by Meta and has its own privacy policy. This website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.
We keep rental records and ID copies for 5 years, then delete them securely.
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email routeroverlimited@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
We store documents in access-restricted storage and limit who can open them.
